Scott Leeb Speaks at the Special Libraries Association Conference

Scott Leeb, an Engagement Director at Iknow LLC, gave two general session presentations at the Special Libraries Association (SLA) annual conference in Boston, Massachusetts, on June 14 and 15, 2015.

The first presentation, “Global Talent Management: A Key to Producing Superior Results,” was designated as one of five Master Class sessions, which were aimed at experienced information professionals and those wanting to get an advanced-level look at a timely topic. The session explored some of the key factors involved in successful talent management. Leeb shared his experience as a senior executive at both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations where he hired more than 200 people during his career.

The second presentation, “Be Bold, Be Brief, Be Gone: Secrets on How to Successfully Navigate the C-Suite,” delivered to a packed auditorium, focused on why individuals falter with executives and what they can do to establish and extend our credibility. Leeb’s experience in creating and managing competitive intelligence functions at Fortune 500 companies as well as his time on the Strategy and Competitive Intelligence Professional (SCIP) Board of Directors helped drive a lively presentation and Q&A.
