Iknow Adds Two Senior KM Practitioners to Its Consulting Staff

Iknow LLC today announced that Robert Armacost and Scott Leeb have joined the company as Engagement Directors. “I am quite excited to welcome these exceptionally talented individuals to the organization,” said Dr. Bernard L. Palowitch, Jr., President of Iknow. “We are seeing increased client demand for knowledge management strategy, content migration and enrichment, and technology implementation services, and Bob and Scott will help us expand our capabilities in these areas.”

Robert (Bob) Armacost

Bob Armacost brings extensive experience in management consulting and knowledge management, with a track record of delivering significant business impact for two leading global professional services organizations. He most recently held the position of Principal & Global Head of Knowledge at KPMG, LLP. Armacost led the strategy and implementation for KPMG’s global knowledge, collaboration, and research capabilities, which delivered value for its business and clients by harnessing the knowledge of 160,000 people at KPMG.

Prior to KPMG, Armacost served as the first-ever Director of Knowledge Management for Bain & Company, Inc., where he led the build and oversight of Bain’s award-winning knowledge capabilities and tools. Armacost began his Bain career as a management consultant, where he led teams serving clients across multiple industries on strategy, performance improvement, and merger and acquisition issues.

Armacost previously served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force with final rank of Captain, where he managed the development and procurement of major electronic systems for the Air Force.

A frequent speaker and author on knowledge management and collaboration, Armacost earned a bachelor of science degree from in mechanical engineering from Northwestern University and a master of science degree in management from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Scott Leeb

Scott Leeb was most recently the Managing Director for Knowledge Management at The Rockefeller Foundation. In this newly created role, he designed, implemented, and managed a centralized function for gathering and accessing all of the Foundation's extensive information resources to ensure that collective knowledge capital was leveraged to support the Foundation’s operations and contributed to the impact of the work of the Foundation and its grantees.

Prior to that, Leeb was the Vice President, Business Intelligence for Prudential Retirement Services where he was responsible for facilitating the organization’s ongoing marketing transformation using research, analytics, and data to leverage a competitive advantage.

Leeb began his career at the U.S. Department of Defense as a senior intelligence analyst where he focused on political-military issues in Asia.

Leeb earned a master of arts degree in strategic studies from Australian National University, a master of arts degree in international affairs from Columbia University, and a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Yale University.
